What you need:
- Crabs: 2-3 medium cut into two
- Onion: 2 Medium
- Fresh coconut milk: 200 ml
- The Women of Goem Goan Xec Xec masala: 2-3 tbsps
- Curry leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil (coconut oil is traditional, but you can use any oil)

1. Clean and cut the crabs, season with salt and pepper.

2. Finely chop the onions.

3. Heat 3 tbsps of oil in a wok.

4. Add a tsp of mustard seeds.

5. Add some curry leaves.

6. When the mustard sputters, add the onions.

7. Fry for 3-4 minutes.

8. Add half a tsp of salt.

9. Fry over high flame.

10. Or until the onions start to brown.

11. Add 2-3 tsps of the Goan Xec Xec masala.

12. Lower the flame and mix well.

13. Fry until the oil separates.

14. Add the crabs.

15. Mix thoroughly on high heat.

16. Make sure the crabs are coated with the masala.

17. After frying for 2-3 minutes, add the coconut milk.

18. Mix well.

19. Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame.

20. Cook until the crabs are done.

21. Check the consistency of gravy.

22. Adjust salt.

23. Add 2-3 tsps of coconut cream.

24. Garnish with curry leaves.

25. The crab xec xec is done.
