Caldin De CAMARÃO

(100 grams)

Caldin is the ultimate comfort food. It gets its name from the Portuguese ‘caldinho’ meaning a broth. Caldin de Camarao literally means Prawns Caldin which is the traditional preparation, but it also compliments vegetables, and a dish called Caldinho de Legumes, is very popular. Our Caldin is an ancestral home recipe handed down generations within a Catholic family from the village of Raia, in South Goa, and preserves the essence of this classic from the Portuguese era.

Hello! Your prawn with pumpkin recipe was the best I have had in my life. Never heard of Caldin masala as a Punjabi living in the UK, and this masala was given to me by my Goan neighbour. Now I’m looking forward to try other Goan masalas too.
